A confident girl has the power to make real change. This is according to Miss Teenager South Africa 2018 title holder and pageant director, Katlego Ncala, who admittedly has seen and used the power of the sash.
The 19-year old from Johannesburg says confidence always leads to great things.
Ncala, who was crowned Miss Teen World in 2015, believes that one can start the real change in their local community and go on to influence the world.
Through the Miss Teenager South Africa pageant, which takes place during youth month, she encourages every young girl to be courageous, be herself, and continue to define what it means to be confidently beautiful.
“I am very excited for Miss Teenager South Africa to be back this year. We are more than just a beauty pageant, we look at different aspects, empowerment and uplifting young people in our communities,” says Ncala.
She is also the reigning Miss Teenager South Africa 2018. The ambitious teenager says she has gained a lot from this title.
The pageant is licensed under the Miss Teenager Universe organization - a beauty pageant that empowers young ladies to develop the confidence they need to be their personal best.
This year’s winner is billed to represent the country at the highly coveted Miss Teenager Universe pageant to be held in August 2019, in Guatemala City. The winner also walks away with a bursary from T&T Academy amongst other prizes.
“We always look for an ambitious, confident and inspirational teenager who is a role model for South African girls and embody the message of Girl Power and Youth,” Ncala said.
